March 1996's Go Answer of the Month

Dia 1 - Black to play.

White hasn't got a lot of manouvering space and so he needs to link his two parts and run to the middle.

Dia 2 - The obvious black move.

Dia 3 - A marvelous net.

White 10 at .

White is now hemmed in, can't break out and I don't see how he can create two eyes on the edge. So I reckon White would have been better to have tenukied after Black 1 in Dia 2!
